Mapped

Mapped is an ongoing video series that explains historical, geopolitical, or economic topics using maps. The issues range from relevant and current events to issues that haven’t received much public attention. For example, videos were produced on the nuclear armament of North Korea, the global impact of the Covid 19 pandemic, as well as on a new port project in Iceland, and a planned green city in Malaysia.

Portraits

In this series, we take a look at the lives of people who so often dominate the news cycle. How did these politicians, scientists, athletes, artists, and more end up where they are today? And who has been left out of the news cycle despite contributing largely to our daily live?

The series will cover how careers have unfolded, what obstacles the people portrayed have overcome, and the criticism that those featured have faced.

THE UNKNOWN CITY

Within the last 10 years, the number of people who have been forcibly displaced around the world has risen rapidly; yet, portraying how this issue has continued to increase is difficult, as such large numbers can often appear abstract. The Unknown City illustrates the scope of global displacement by creating a fictional city based on real data. This short film is available as an exclusive Original on Nebula, the streaming service neo is a part of.
